A fox curls up for a snooze on fur coats that were donated by former fur-wearers who have had a change of heart for Kent-based The Fox Project, which takes in and nurtures hundreds of red foxes that have been injured because of hunting, traffic accidents and pest control, as well as orphaned cubs. We may not be able to bring back animals ruthlessly killed for their coats, but we can put these products of cruelty to good use as bedding to comfort injured or orphaned animals, among other things, says PETA Associate Director Mimi Bekhechi.
